12 - How to Add EPG to Streams

What is EPG?

EPG, or Electronic Program Guide, is a digital schedule that provides information about current and upcoming TV programs. It allows users to view details such as show titles, start and end times, descriptions, and genres directly within their IPTV application. EPG enhances the user experience by making it easier to browse and select content.

Step 1: Navigate to the Streams section

While on the main screen of your panel, click on the "Content" section and then select "Streams and Manage Streams" from the displayed options.

On the screen, you'll see:

  • Quick Search: Previously used to quickly search and select EPG content provided by XUI-ONE. However, XUI-EPG is no longer functional.
  • XUI EPG: XUI-EPG is no longer operational.
  • XMLTV EPG: The section where you select the XMLTV file added to the EPG Source.
  • EPG Source: The EPG source you’ve added to the panel.
  • EPG Channel ID: The section to enter the channel's name.
  • EPG Language: Displays the language of the selected channel's EPG.
  • Minute Offset: Used to adjust discrepancies in the EPG timings (typically not needed).

Fill in all the required fields mentioned above. Go to "Servers" and save your changes.

  • This process must be done individually for each channel. Unfortunately, there is no alternative method.

If your provider offers EPG support, you can convert your M3U link directly into an EPG link using this tool: IPTV-Tools
