11 - How to Import Channels
What is Channel Import?β
Channel importing is the process of adding multiple channels to your IPTV panel simultaneously using structured data files. This feature allows you to quickly populate your channel lineup by importing channel information, including names, stream URLs, EPG IDs, and other metadata. It's an efficient way to add or update large numbers of channels without manually entering each one, saving time and reducing the possibility of errors.
Step 1: Navigate to the Import Channels Sectionβ
While on the main screen of your panel, click on the "Content" section and then select "Streams and Import Multiple" from the displayed options.
After clicking on the "Import Channels" tab, select the M3U file containing the channels you want to upload. Then, choose the bouquet and category where the channels will be uploaded. (To categorize the channels in the M3U list, you can use IPTV-Tools, the link is at the bottom of the page.)

Step 2: Fill in the Required Fieldsβ
Next, go to the "Advanced" tab. You can leave the settings as they are, or make changes if desired. For more information on each setting, you can click bubbles next to it to see what it does.

After completing the necessary steps, go to the "Servers" tab. If you're using the channels live, select your server and activate "Start Stream Now" in the bottom-right corner, then click "Save".
However, if you're using them on-demand, select your server, then choose the same server again from the "On-demand Servers" section below. After enabling "Low Latency On-Demand", click "Save".
What is On-Demand?β
If you import channels to your panel as On-Demand, you won't be using your provider's connection limit all the time. When a user starts watching a channel that you added to the panel in On-Demand, one connection from your provider will be used. However, On-Demand channels do not consume any connections when nobody is watching them. If you haven't purchased a large number of connections from your provider, itβs recommended to import channels as On-Demand
